Frame it. Test it. Build it.
Each service answers one question and ends with a go, change or stop answer. Every price is on this page. Start at the stage you are at. A half-day workshop is the quickest way in.

Threshold Workshop
Where should our AI feature act on its own, and where should it ask?
For
Product and design leads who have an AI feature in mind and need a shared answer.
How it runs
Half a day with your team. We prototype the threshold together: when a system should act, when it should ask and when it should stay quiet.
You get
- A shared map of act, ask and stay quiet for your feature
- The three questions most worth testing
- A recommendation on which study to run first
A$7,500Fixed price, excluding GST
Half a day, written map within a week
What the price assumes and what changes it
- The price assumes
- One half-day session with your team, one feature in scope, one written map. AI drafts the narrative and the first analysis. A named specialist signs off every technique.
- What changes the price
- A second feature, a second team, or a session outside Sydney.

Consent Map
Where does our system sense people, and what are they told?
For
Product, legal and trust teams who need the picture before they commit to testing.
How it runs
We trace what the system senses, where the data goes and every moment a person is told. Each gap is ranked by how likely it is to fail. Desk-based, with no testing. It is the first step of the Presence and Consent Review, sold on its own.
You get
- A map of every sensing and notice moment
- Gaps ranked by how likely they are to fail
- A view on whether a full review is worth it

2 weeks, desk-based
Design work, not legal advice. It sits alongside your counsel.
What the price assumes and what changes it
- The price assumes
- One system, with its documents and access to the people who built it. AI drafts the narrative and the first analysis. A named specialist signs off every technique.
- What changes the price
- More than one system, or a system we cannot see inside.

Presence and Consent Review
Will our notices and consent moments hold up when people meet them?
For
Product, legal and trust teams building systems that sense people or act for them.
How it runs
We map every moment a person is told, then test those moments with real people in short sessions. The Review ranks where notices would fail and redesigns them. Findings are reported as found, including stop.
You get
- A map of every consent moment
- Gaps ranked by how likely they are to fail
- Redesigned notice and consent surfaces, tested with people
A$24,000Fixed price, excluding GST
4 to 6 weeks
Design work, not legal advice. From 10 December 2026, organisations covered by the Privacy Act must describe significant automated decisions in their privacy policy. That is a disclosure rule. We test what people experience in the moments the rule does not reach.
What the price assumes and what changes it
- The price assumes
- One system and one group of people. The number of sessions is agreed before we start. AI drafts the narrative and the first analysis. A named specialist signs off every technique.
- What changes the price
- A second system, further user groups, or a second round of redesign.

Threshold Study
How much autonomy will our users trust, and where will they take control back?
For
Product and R&D teams about to ship something that acts without being asked.
How it runs
We build a working prototype of one behaviour, place it with real people in one setting, then take it away. What they notice, and what they miss, is the finding. It ends in go, change or stop.
You get
- A working prototype of the behaviour
- A threshold map: when it was noticed, when it was missed
- A go, change or stop recommendation
A$50,000Fixed price, excluding GST
About 10 weeks
What the price assumes and what changes it
- The price assumes
- One behaviour, one setting, and an off-the-shelf or kit device standing in for the final object. Participants and sessions are agreed before we start. AI drafts the narrative and the first analysis. A named specialist signs off every technique.
- What changes the price
- A second behaviour, a second setting, a longer placement, or custom hardware. Custom hardware moves you to the device study.

Prototype to physical device
Can we see it working in real rooms, with real hardware?
For
Teams whose study says go and who need to see the behaviour in a physical object.
How it runs
We make working prototypes with industrial design partners and suppliers, often at 1:10 scale as dioramas and 3D-printed models, so sensing and ambient behaviour can be tested in a model of the space before anything goes full size. Standard electronic and ISO certification is sourced and managed within the bill of materials.
You get
- Working prototypes, from scale models to a device in use
- A bill of materials with certification routes
- Evidence from real rooms and real people
From A$100,000Scoped per project, excluding GST
Scoped per project
What the price assumes and what changes it
- The price assumes
- Your study says go. Hardware, tooling, supplier fees and certification are passed through at cost and listed in the scope. AI drafts the narrative and the first analysis. A named specialist signs off every technique.
- What changes the price
- Custom radio design, the certification route, the number of devices and the number of rooms. A full-scale custom device changes scope, price and timeline. We quote any custom radio work separately before you commit.
